How Not To: Survive A Pandemic

How Not To: Survive A Pandemic is a humorous gift book that does the impossible. It lets you laugh at this Pandemic! There's no politics, no judgements, just silly, absurd fun. It's even stocked with ridiculous pictures that will make you ask, "How did this get published?"

It's the type of book you read while doing your business on the toilet. Or waiting for the bus that never seems to come. Or waiting in line at the liquor store for the bourbon that's finally on sale.

This blasted virus thing has affected us all, and the best revenge is to put a smile on your face and soldier on.

And best of all, it’s written by an author who's an expert in the field of abject failure, so you know there won't be rules to follow.

Princess of Independence

Princess Cristina Trivulzio Belgiojoso is a forgotten figure of the Italian Revolution
Born into a family of nobility, Belgiojoso learned at a young age what
foreigners interested in ruling the Italian States could be like.
She spent the rest of her life dedicated to uniting her home country and ousting those foreigners
who only brought harm and discord to the country.
After a failed marriage to a prince and being banished to live in Paris,
Belgiojoso met many key players in the French Government, helping to further her cause.
Her social circles were ones that everyone desired to be part of.
When Belgiojoso becomes a mother, with no father to help her, she still works toward her goal of a unified country, raising her daughter to understand the importance of her heritage.

Will she have to choose between being a mother or being a patriot?

The Twelve Constellations in The Tribes

An Astrological Path to Spirituality Based On The Holy Scriptures - by: Theo B. Wilson

"In this book we explore the twelve zodiac signs as they relate to myths, legends and the Holy Bible and, in so doing, uncover messages defining the true purpose of the Zodiac.

More than 6,000 stars are visible from any given point on planet earth, and we have learned that these stars serve many purposes. In the past, humans used them to navigate their lands and seas and to discover places unknown. Ancient civilizations used the stars to mark the times and seasons. Biblically, the stars are said to provide humanity with “signs and wonders.”

Today these constellations are widely purposed in an attempt to predict the future or answer some specific question about our self. But this misuse of the stars prevents us from the transcendent truth that these heavenly creations are actually designed to serve a greater purpose. These constellations tell stories to provide us guidance; leading us to life-altering truths about who we are and how we can live lives of purpose and power.

Join me on this enlightening journey and discover these truths and our meaningful relationship to the stars.

When Life Stood in Silence

When Life Stood in Silence is an autobiography in Poetry which depicts a series of life’s events and the deep emotions experienced over many years. These poems express pains from love lost and desired, death, adversities, and a yearning to emerge from deep emotional distress, trauma, and depression. It tells of the writer’s turmoil, when life halted, and the need for solitude. Moreover, it highlights her daunting inability to relate anything from the world outside the soul except her own misery which laments from far crevices of the heart. It speaks of hope, strength, faith, and a call for help from one’s destructive thoughts. It’s where life’s purpose seems to have no voice and no longer speak to a battered soul; where no one seems to hear loud outcries for survival.

A Baby Eagle Was Told He's A Beetle

My name is Ashia Foster, and I'm the author of this amazing storyline. A baby eagle is lost and wasn't able to find his mother. A rooster comes to his rescue, but the solution wasn't in the eagle's favor. The rooster was dishonest and envious. All because of jealousy! The rooster always wanted to fly like an eagle, but wasn't born to soar. Instead of accepting that he is a beautiful rooster, he wanted to soar. In the real world, jealousy is behind so many bad outcomes. One can read and take something from this little fictional storyline. We can love and accept each other. We can all soar in many different ways. I grew up taking care of roosters, and every morning I look forward to hear the beautiful crowing a rooster makes. It woke me up for school, and I didn't need an alarm clock. I enjoyed writing this storyline. I hope your children enjoys reading this book. Thank you all for your support.

Faithful Nomad

Faithful Nomad:

Finding Your Path... When There's No Destination

‘È come essere schiaffeggiato nel buio,’
which means ‘It’s like being slapped in the dark.’

It’s happened to all of us. Some things we choose to have in our lives, and some things we don’t. Faithful Nomad makes the case that by owning our space, we create our own path that is not only valid, but breathtaking and enlightening. Stripping away everything familiar leaves us with nothing but ourselves - the journey that matters most.

Author Lisa Szkatulski has been writing creative briefs for nearly twenty years. In her debut book, written in the style of "Eat, Pray, Love" or "Girl, Wash Your Face," she leads readers through deeply personal reflections of 24 countries traveled, a career in advertising, officiating four weddings, chronic illness, birth and death and all the other everyday things – to demonstrate the journey, art and practice of self-trust. She lays out how finding joy in the journey may be a predisposition... but trusting the journey is a worthwhile practice that can be learned.

Faithful Nomad is for anyone who is endlessly curious, searching for what life is all about, and gets excited by unearthing and facing their own shadow selves. Faithful Nomad readers know instinctively that when the soul cries out, it takes both the desire and practice of self-awareness to listen and learn to what it has to say. In this book, they will find a willing and able kindred spirit to show them how the work can be done.
