A purge is coming, but Nyla has ignored the whispers of heaven her entire life. After all, her angelic power has only caused pain and despair to her human father, who hid Nyla in plain sight until she could defend herself. When Nyla’s secret is exposed, the leaders of her home country grow terrified of her potential.
In an act of desperation, the other angels draw Nyla out of hiding and attempt to take her life. They fear she is the deliverer of their purge, and now they hunt her. The absence of angelic oversight allows the demons to spread across the continent like a plague, and the last six human nations teeter on the verge of collapse.
