United States of Anger

United States of Anger:

Why Linda Sarsour's Rage and the Far Left's Violence Cannot Move Mountains. Thoughts of a British Muslim Conservative

“United States of Anger” is a commentary unlike any other discussing many worldwide issues from a British Muslim Hasan Ali Imam.

London, UK – October 25, 2020 – British Muslim Hasan Ali Imam, a former British Parliament candidate, released his first book, “United States of Anger,” available on Amazon. Imam isn’t new to the political arena and has had an interest ingovernment since his early college years. Imam says, “I felt compelled to write my book in the hopes of creating an open discussion worldwide. There are many governments ranging from democracy, socialism, and communism throughout the world, but at the core, we are all individuals. We should be able to openly discuss our differences, especially when it comes to confronting racism and other global issues.”

For Dr. Melissa Caudle, publisher and editor of the book with Absolute Author Publishing House, she found the book eye-opening. Caudle says, “This isn’t a book that tells you what to think or what you should do. It does make you think about the world and the many situations we confront, including racism and bias. I loved the open approach Imam took without any condemnation. He leaves the reader wanting to know more, but at the same time, provides discourse based on fact and not conjecture.”

ABOUT THE BOOK

“United States of Anger: Why Linda Sarsour’s Rage and the Far Left’s Anger Cannot Move Mountains. Thoughts of a British Muslim Conservative” addresses the toxic nature of debate in America and the need for better understanding between Conservatives (the Right) and Liberals/Socialists (the Left). Civil discussion is the way forward, and this book should be viewed as a precursor to a continuous dialogue.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hasan was born in Bangladesh and has lived in the UK for 47 years. He attended the London School of Economics in the early 1990s and then went on to do an MBA at Imperial College. Hasan has an understanding of the extremist mindset when recruitment attempts were made during university to join the Mujahideen in Afghanistan by a terrorist who was later involved in the murder of the American journalist, Daniel Pearl. He has been involved as a trainer for ‘Prevent’, the UK Government’s counter-terrorism strategy, which seeks to prevent extremists from following the radicalization path. Hasan has helped campaign for Conservative MPs and stood for the British Parliament in 2005 as a Conservative candidate and standing in county elections. He has challenged extremist leaders head-on during that time and believes that this is the only way to diffuse radicalization. He hopes to become a Member of Parliament one day.
